Kwitu Haven

You will never walk alone

Kwitu Safe Haven

Kwitu Safe Haven is a community-based project that was established by KWITU INC (Kenyan Women In the United State). The objective of this project is to provide free confidential support and services to Kenyan Women who are victims of domestic violence here in the United States of America.

Kwitu Safe Haven will also focus on providing education to Kenyan women regarding domestic violence with the aim of preventing and breaking the cycle of domestic violence. It is expected that through these services and education, that it will be possible to have a direct and positive effect to the well-being of the Kenyan Women of the community. KWITU Safe Haven helps its members who reach out in need of help as they are running away from their abusers.

The purpose of the KWITU Haven project is to provide victims of domestic violence (Sisters), with a way out of an abusive relationship, be it verbal, emotional or physical.

This is a KWITU Inc project but is extended to our KWITU sisters across the board.
